I Heart Faces!

Happy Father's Day!!

In this special day, I would like to take a moment to share a shoot I did with my father in law and my precious daughter, Chloe.  Chloe is so attached to her Papa, Jeff, and doesn't get to see him very often.  Being able to take a few minutes out of our quick visit to take a couple of pictures of them was definitely a highlight for me!

I hope all the dads out there had a very special day, with some very special loved ones.

What a great way to wake up in the morning... I was lucky enough to have my camera handy (when is it not, really??).  I made sure to not disturb mama goose, so I utilized the zoom, and actually took the picture from my car.  These guys were precious.

Sometimes, even a flower that looks like it's about to die, can make for the prettiest of pictures!

It seems, as I'm just setting this blog up, that I'm new to the game of photography.  It may seem that way, but that would be a lie!  I have had an interest in photography for many, many years.  I've always been a gadget kind of a girl, and photography captured my attention, and my heart, way back.  I was blessed with a beautiful daughter back in 2005, and she definitely became an inspiration and centerpiece to my pictures, but I have since branched out, because my love of taking pictures is a strong one, and something that never shuts off in my head.

I live in small town Georgia, not far from Atlanta, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle, that I get to enjoy lifes little moments, and usually capture them with my camera.  I love being a country girl, and I think my pictures reflect that most of the time.

I am very excited to be taking this next step in my career, and even more excited to be able to share these moments, and create smiles and memories, with some wonderful people.
